Managing Roles

With the AENTE roles feature, it is possible to manage all the permissions and roles that providers will perform in your account, restricting access to sensitive information and accurately directing the resources that each one can use.

Creating Roles

To begin creating a Role, certain prerequisites must be met, as outlined below:

  1. You must have a provider account.
  2. Possess a root account.
  3. Your provider account must be assigned a role with the appropriate permissions for creating roles, including the following:

Once all necessary configurations are in place, you can proceed with the steps below to create a role:

  1. Click on the module labeled “Accounts.”
  2. After entering the module, select the option “Roles.”
  3. Click the blue button to initiate the creation of a new Role.
  4. Start by giving a name to the role you are creating.
  5. Click on the Role Access field.

Note: This Role Access field is used to indicate which permission that user will be able to grant to other provider users, in case they are able to create them.

  1. Provide a description for the Role you are creating.

  2. Click on Open ALL. Note: By selecting this option, you will see all the system permissions. However, if you click on one of the labels, for example: Operational, you will only see the permissions related to that module.

  3. Done! Select the permission you want to assign to that role.

Editing Roles

To begin editing a role, you must first meet the following prerequisites:

  1. You must have a provider account.
  2. Possess a root account.
  3. Your provider account must be assigned a role with the appropriate permissions for editing roles, including the following:

Once all necessary configurations are in place, you can proceed with the steps below to edit a role:

  1. Click on the module labeled “Account.”
  2. After entering the module, select the option “Roles.”
  3. When the list of Roles appears, enter the name of the role you wish to edit in the search field.
  4. If a role matching the searched name exists, the system will display options corresponding to your search.
  5. After locating the desired role, click on it.
  6. At this point, the system will display the role form with the modules collapsed.
  7. Click the “Open all” button.
  8. After viewing the permissions assigned to that role, uncheck the option you want to edit and check a new one.
  9. Once all the necessary information has been edited, click the blue button labeled “Update role” and that’s it! Your role will be successfully updated in the system.

Deleting Roles

It is not possible to delete a role.

Restoring Roles

It is not possible to restore a role.

Linking Roles to Providers

To begin linking a role to a provider, you must first meet the following prerequisites:

  1. You must have a provider account.
  2. Possess a root account.
  3. Your provider account must be assigned a role with the appropriate permissions for managing roles and providers, including deletion.
  4. Your account must have providers and roles that are created and active.

Once all the necessary configurations are in place, you can follow the steps below to link a role:

  1. Click on the module labeled “Accounts.”
  2. After entering the module, select the option “Provider.”
  3. Click the blue button to start creating one provider.

Note: This addition can also be made to already created providers. Just search for the provider and view their form (appropriate authorizations required).

  1. When the provider creation form is displayed, look for the field named “Roles” and click on it.

  2. Select the role you want to assign to that provider.

Note: If no role is shown for selection, it is necessary to verify which role your function is authorized to create. This can be seen within the form of the role you have, under the “Role Access” option.

  1. That’s it! The role will now be linked to the provider.

Note: To ensure the role is properly linked, you must complete the creation of the provider. This means that other required fields, beyond just the role field, must be filled in.
